We believe Capital Entrepreneurs are essential to unlocking a more innovative and inclusive economy.

Our Background

Launched in 2022, Catalyze is a leading partner to Capital Entrepreneurs—the underrepresented and innovative investors building the next generation of institutional firms.

We work alongside allocators and funders who recognize that expanding access to capital requires supporting the fund managers themselves, not just the businesses they invest in. Our work is grounded in the belief that when we expand who manages capital and equip them to succeed, we reshape what gets funded and unlock a more innovative, inclusive economy.

Prior to launching Catalyze, our team was deeply embedded in the ecosystem we now serve, leading initiatives including Launch With GS, Capital Access Lab, and the Innovative Finance Project. Our team has extensive fund investment, due diligence, impact investing and operational experience from Cambridge Associates, Goldman Sachs, The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and Blueprint Local.

For years, our team has worked to expand the range of investment structures – pushing beyond traditional models to meet the needs of overlooked businesses. Now, through our partnership with the Innovative Finance Initiative, we're taking that work further by helping to build out the infrastructure, resources, and networks that will enable this ecosystem to thrive at scale.
